Casey is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter from Waynesboro, VA. Known for his work with Midlife Pilot and New Lions, Casey moved to Richmond in 2012 to explore musical opportunities. Casey likes to showcase an unfiltered version of his creative vision, while able to do so collaborating with other artists. Collecting a background in daycare and childcare Casey can guide any aged student on their musical journey whether it  be songwriting or learning scales. With musical influences in the vein of early 2000’s emo and alternative rock, Casey also heavily explores the ambitious use of genre and sub-genre studies. Most importantly Casey loves to have fun with music and is willing to share the enjoyment.

Hello! My name is Jami and I will be teaching instrumental music lessons at Rob's Midlothian Music Lessons. I recently graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a bachelor's degree in Music Education with a concentration in instrumental music. The instrument I majored in is the tuba, and my secondary instrument is voice. I currently teach 4th and 5th grade band in Richmond Public Schools and I am a teacher at SPARC. I currently play in The Richmond Brass and Percussion Consort, The Richmond Pops, and I freelance when I can. Music has changed my life in the best way possible and I am so grateful I get to share that with my students, colleagues, and anyone who wants to listen or learn. I look forward to meeting the musicians I will be working  with at Robert Alexander's Music Lessons.

Zach is one of our friendliest teachers, with over 10 years of experience playing, teaching and performing drums, guitar, bass guitar, and ukulele. Zach's approach to teaching is to make sure that students have a solid foundation in technique and musicianship and encouraging students to dive deeper into their musical endeavors while nurturing creativity and exploration. Zach believes that keeping lessons fun for the students is equally important to the development of musical skill which he helps impart. Give us a call or an email today to get signed up for lessons with Zach!

covid19 update

Midlothian Music is of course taking appropriate precautionary steps as outlined by the CDC. While we do offer in-person lessons, we are required to physically distance ourselves from our students, wear approved masks, require our students to wear masks, and sanitize the studio and all surfaces prior to a student entering the premises.

However, for our students who are at-risk, live with others who are at-risk, or are erring more so on the side of caution, we do offer virtual lessons, and the same procedures and prices apply for those. Please call or email us for more information if you have any questions or concerns!
